What we collect
We collect only what we need to run ACFAddons: • Email address — when you subscribe to release notes or purchase a Pro license. • Purchase and billing data — handled entirely by Freemius. We receive a transaction record (plan, license count, date) but never see your card number or full payment details. • Usage analytics — anonymous page-view data via Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics. No personally identifiable information is sent to these services.
How we use it
Your email is used for two things only: delivering the release notes you signed up for, and sending transactional messages related to your Pro license (renewal reminders, refund confirmations, support replies). We don't send marketing emails to Pro customers who didn't also opt in to release notes.
How we sell — Freemius
All Pro licenses are sold and fulfilled through Freemius, our e-commerce and licensing platform. When you purchase a Pro plan, you're transacting directly with Freemius on our behalf. Freemius collects and stores your name, email address, billing address, and payment details. ACFAddons does not receive or store your card number or full payment details — only a transaction record (plan purchased, license count, date). Freemius also handles license key generation, automatic renewals, refund processing, and the My Account portal at acfaddons.com/my-account. By purchasing a Pro license, you also agree to Freemius's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy: freemius.com/privacy
Other third-party services
In addition to Freemius, we use: • Google Analytics — anonymous traffic analytics. You can opt out via Google's browser add-on. • Cloudflare — CDN, DNS, and anonymous beacon analytics. Their privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy • Google Fonts — serves the Sora and JetBrains Mono typefaces, which may log your IP address. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@acfaddons.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We'll respond within 30 days.
Data retention
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed or hold an active Pro license. If you cancel your subscription and unsubscribe from release notes, we delete your email within 30 days. Billing records are retained for 7 years to satisfy tax and accounting obligations.
Children
ACFAddons is not directed at anyone under the age of 16. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, contact hello@acfaddons.com and we'll delete it immediately.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we'll notify Pro license holders by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
